DURSLEY BIRDWATCHING AND  PRESERVATION SOCIETY

February 2010

What an interesting start to the year we have had, plenty of snow a couple of meetings cancelled and for me lots of birds in the garden. The amount of Fieldfares spotted in gardens this winter is amazing, my sister had about 60 in 1 small Apple tree. I have also seen Redwing, Blackcap and Goldcrest but as yet no Brambling. As usual there are plenty of indoor and outdoor meetings this month with amongst others trips to Coombe Hill Meadow and the Rhymney Estuary, more details can be found on this website. Enjoy your birding.
